These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Angelus Pet Hospital website (the "Site") and our products and services, including our SMS messaging program. For information on how we handle your personal data, see our Privacy Policy.

By accessing the Site, submitting a form, making a purchase, or opting in to our SMS program, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or our services.

4. Accounts and orders

5. SMS messaging program (A2P 10DLC)

When you check the SMS-consent box on our website form, you opt in to receive text messages from Angelus Pet Hospital. The following terms govern that program.

  • Program description: Account-related notifications, appointment reminders, order updates, and customer-service messages.
  • Message frequency: Recurring messages; frequency varies based on your activity. Typically fewer than 10 messages per month.
  • Cost: Message and data rates may apply. Charges are set by your mobile carrier, not by us.
  • Opt-out: Reply STOP at any time to any message to unsubscribe. You will receive a final confirmation that you have been opted out, after which we will not send you SMS messages unless you opt in again.
  • Help: Reply HELP to any message, or contact us at (818) 241-8333 or info@angeluspethospital.com.
  • Carriers: Supported on all major U.S. carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • Consent is not a condition of purchase. You can use our services without opting in to SMS.
  • Eligible numbers: Only U.S. mobile numbers are eligible. Do not enroll a number you do not own or are not authorized to enroll.
  • Privacy: See our Privacy Policy for how we handle SMS data. We do not share mobile numbers or SMS opt-in data with third parties for marketing.

6. Fees and payment

Where we charge fees for products or services, those fees are disclosed to you before you complete a purchase. You agree to pay all applicable charges, including taxes, and you authorize us to charge your selected payment method. Unless otherwise stated, fees are non-refundable except as required by law.

  • Enroll a phone number that you do not own or are not authorized to enroll.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Angelus Pet Hospital and its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Site, our services, or the SMS program - including but not limited to lost profits, lost opportunities, or damages from undelivered or misdirected messages. Our total liability for any claim relating to these Terms will not exceed the fees you paid us, if any, in the twelve months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Angelus Pet Hospital from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Site or SMS program, or your enrollment of a phone number you were not authorized to enroll.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site or SMS program at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law. You may opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP, and you may stop using the Site at any time.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Site or SMS program after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
